NOTB Productions is casting for its summer film, 'Skyboys'. Filming will take place in Bernardston, Leyden, and other local towns in Franklin County, Massachusetts in July & August 2009. The film is a children's fantasy-adventure about two young, squabbling brothers who are sent to their grandmother's for a week, but find a rocket in the woods, blast off, and get lost in space, and have to make friends and learn to get along in order to find their way back home.
Open auditions for all parts will be held this weekend, June 6th and 7th, from 9am to 6pm on both Saturday and Sunday. The location is the Leyden Town Hall, at 16 West Leyden Rd., Leyden, MA, 01337. Mapquest.com does a good job of finding it; Google Maps does not.
6/3/09 9:30am- I have uploaded character sides to audition for half the characters. Please check back tonight for the others. Feel free to browse the character breakdown here, and if you find a character you would like to audition for, download the sides for him or her and come in this weekend to read for the role. You are also welcome to audition with your own piece.

CHARI: Woman 15-25. Beautiful, haughty princess.

LEPIDOPTERA: Woman 30-50. Beautiful, depressed queen of the butterflies.
